Westwood Carpentry and Construction are based in the Perth Northern suburbs and have been operating for the last 14 years installing steel framing for residential properties.
An opportunity has arisen for a Steel Framing/Carpentry Apprentice to join the team on a full time basis.Ìý
This exciting opportunity would suit someone with an interest in carpentry but wanting to learn how to work with steel, some exposure to using power tools would be highly desirable but full training will be provided. Ìý
During your Apprenticeship you will learn all about the installation of steel framing for roofing, walls and cladding. ÌýThe industry will give you exposure to the technical aspects of the construction industry including how toÌý
reading drawings and buildings plans. ÌýA white card will be required but can be obtained prior to commencing if you have a genuine interest to join the trade.
This is a full time position working from 6.30am Monday to Friday. A drivers licence would be preferred but in the first instance if you are able to get to a train station local pick up may be arranged.
