We currently haveÌýan opportunity for the right person to undertake a Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship.ÌýÌý

The successful candidate will beÌýrequired to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade.Ìý

In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:Ìý

• Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipmentÌý
• Manual and CNC machine operationÌý
• Assisting with root cause analysis investigationsÌý
• Completing inspection and test plans consistent with meeting corporate compliance standardsÌý
• Providing troubleshooting advice and reliability solutionsÌý
• ​Preparing repair work quotations, associated documentation and scheduling of jobs for repair

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:Ìý

• A genuine desire to become a qualifiedÌýengineeringÌýtradespersonÌý
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailÌý
• Self-motivationÌýwith a positive work ethicÌý
• Commitment to on and off the job trainingÌý
• A willingness to learn and work within a team environmentÌý
• Strong commitment to OHSÌý
• ​Drivers licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferred but not essential
