Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
Apprentice WelderÌý/ BoilermakerÌý(Permanent Term Employment – 4 Years)
The purpose of the apprentice welder/boilermaker is to learn the foundational skills and knowledge required to become a proficient welder/boilermaker while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. This apprenticeship is not restricted to recent school leavers but is available to anyone who is interested in a career in Welding / Boilermaking and who is confident of meeting the academic study requirements.
Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require basic mathematical skills.
Hours of work:Ìý38 hours per week.Ìý
Salary and conditions:ÌýRemuneration offered will be in accordance with clause 32C wage rates of the Local Government (State) Award 2023 (depending on age).
