What will you learn as a trainee?

A traineeship in Warehousing and Logistics will give you exposure to the different skills that can be applied to a career pathway in the supply chain sector. Working with qualified warehousing and logistics workers, you will also learn how to:

  • Catalogue, record and label items with storage details
  • Create accurate data entry into stock management programs, for items such as received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices
  • Drive a forklift to move heavy items around the warehouse

It generally takes two years to become a qualified Warehouse and Logistics Worker but since the traineeship is based on competency, it can be completed earlier if you have achieved the required skills.
